In Daniel 3, Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego stood for truth in a culture, and against a government that was hostile to their values. They were willing to go into the fire if necessary. God didn't spare them the FROM the furnace but He was with them IN the fire. In today's culture, standing for truth may be challenging. The world around us is hostile to the Word of God and to biblical values. But we are called to be salt and light. (Matthew 5: 13-16) God has placed us at this time in history on purpose and for a purpose. Join us as we get better equipped to address civics and culture from a biblical worldview.

Bruce and Kim talk about the work of Kairos Prison Ministries and how they got involved.
Debi, Bruce and Kim discuss the importance of outreach to those who are incarcerated and to their loved ones. The Kairos retreat model shares the love of Christ with male and female prisoners and helps develop them to be leaders both in and out of prison. Kairos has a proven track record of making prison atmospheres calmer, with less internal crime among prisoners. It also has been shown to reduce recidivism and stop the cycles of crime that cause individuals to be repeat offenders and pass that cycle on to their children.
