Into the Fire: Powered by Dream City Church
In Daniel 3, Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego stood for truth in a culture, and against a government that was hostile to their values. They were willing to go into the fire if necessary. God didn't spare them the FROM the furnace but He was with them IN the fire. In today's culture, standing for truth may be challenging. The world around us is hostile to the Word of God and to biblical values. But we are called to be salt and light. (Matthew 5: 13-16) God has placed us at this time in history on purpose and for a purpose. Join us as we get better equipped to address civics and culture from a biblical worldview.

God Over Government w/ Alison Furno
This week, Debi is joined by Alison Furno, previous co-host of Into the Fire and a volunteer leader with Dream City Civics
Debi and Alison discuss the alarming rise in a favorable view of Communism among young Americans.
Debi and Alison discuss the dangers of an overreaching federal government and how the founders tried to warn of this. They talk about how dependence on government programs and assistance is exceedingly difficult to dial back and that a government which is big enough to provide for an individual's needs can also withhold those goods to control the public.
Finally they discuss the biblical implications of socialism and that one of the biggest dangers is that of replacing God as our provider, Jehova Jireh.
