In Daniel 3, Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego stood for truth in a culture, and against a government that was hostile to their values. They were willing to go into the fire if necessary. God didn't spare them the FROM the furnace but He was with them IN the fire. In today's culture, standing for truth may be challenging. The world around us is hostile to the Word of God and to biblical values. But we are called to be salt and light. (Matthew 5: 13-16) God has placed us at this time in history on purpose and for a purpose. Join us as we get better equipped to address civics and culture from a biblical worldview.

Faith, Family, Foster Care w/ Michael Hunter
This week, Debi and Sam are joined by Michael Hunter, C.O.O of Christian Family Care.
Michael talks about his own journey of becoming a foster parent and then adopting two children out of the foster care system who are a sibling set and both have special needs.
Michael, Sam and Debi discuss the important work being done at Chirstian Family Care and why Christian non-profits are so important. They also discuss how politicians sometimes target Christian families or Christian agencies because of their biblical beliefs. This has been happening across the country and happened in Arizona. In her first weeks of office, Governor Katie Hobbs signed an executive order declaring that the state would not do business with Christian agencies even though there was a shortage of foster parents and over half of foster families hold biblical values.
