Fearfully and Wonderfully Made w/ Marissa Nordlum

Dream City Church

This week, Debi and Sam are joined by special guest Marissa Nordlum.

In this very special extended episode, Marissa shares her testimony of motherhood and of how all children are blessings, fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of a God who loves them.

At twenty weeks pregnant with their first child, Marissa and her husband Jordan were told by doctors that their precious baby showed markers of having Trisomy 21, more commonly known as Down's Syndrome.

Marissa shares her journey of balancing medical advice and the negative words of medical professionals being spoken over their child, including a recommendation to abort him, with their strong faith in God's enduring plan for their son's life.

Marissa talks about the burden she now has for other moms who receive fetal diagnoses and have to walk a similar path.  More care needs to be given in guarding the hearts and minds of parents and valuing and protecting the precious gifts growing in the womb. Here are some helpful links
