Into the Fire: Powered by Dream City Church
In Daniel 3, Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego stood for truth in a culture, and against a government that was hostile to their values. They were willing to go into the fire if necessary. God didn't spare them the FROM the furnace but He was with them IN the fire. In today's culture, standing for truth may be challenging. The world around us is hostile to the Word of God and to biblical values. But we are called to be salt and light. (Matthew 5: 13-16) God has placed us at this time in history on purpose and for a purpose. Join us as we get better equipped to address civics and culture from a biblical worldview.

Feeding Our Communities w/ Pam Trudeau
This week, Debi and Sam are joined by Pam Trudeau, director of Mom's Pantry
Pam, Debi and Sam discuss the rising need for food in our communities. With housing, gas and food costs on the rise, more and more families are having difficulty making ends meet. Food banks and food pantries can help alleviate hunger.
Pam talks about her experience with Mom's Pantry from volunteer to director. She talked about how the COVID shutdowns amplified the need for food distribution. She also talked about the process of where food banks get their food and the need to find healthier choices like fresh fruits and vegetables. They also talked about how Mom's Pantry is different from many food banks because of it's sttong Christian presence, it feeds the soul of the community along with filling hungry bellies.
