In Daniel 3, Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego stood for truth in a culture, and against a government that was hostile to their values. They were willing to go into the fire if necessary. God didn't spare them the FROM the furnace but He was with them IN the fire. In today's culture, standing for truth may be challenging. The world around us is hostile to the Word of God and to biblical values. But we are called to be salt and light. (Matthew 5: 13-16) God has placed us at this time in history on purpose and for a purpose. Join us as we get better equipped to address civics and culture from a biblical worldview.

The Secularization of America w/ Brad Baker
This week, Debi and guest co-host Sam Oriza are joined by Brad Baker, associate pastor at Dream City Church
Pastor Brad has a candid conversation with Debi and Sam about his life and how he sees the current trends in culture. He talks about growing up in a pastor's home and serving in ministry for most of his life, including many years as a youth and family pastor.
They discuss how every generation has different difficulties and challenges. They discuss the drastic secularization of America in the last few decades. Once, it was a cultural norm to attend church and have at least somewhat of a biblical worldview, to our current culture that is largely unchurched and highly secular.
Pastor Brad gives his advice to parents and grandparents about how to combat this and raise strong families.
